enable 300Ω balanced feeder (XR31J) to be used when TV or FM receiver has 75Ω unbalanced aerial input. The balanced feeder terminates on screw terminals on the balun which may then be plugged into a standard coax socket. By using an in-line coax socket and a short piece of 300Ω feeder, it is possible to use the balun in reverse. Size of body 38 x 22 x 20mm.

F plugs for use with solid centre conductor cables. The crimping ring should be slipped over the outside of the cable first, then the plug simply pushes onto the cable between the inner sheath and the screen. The centre wire of the cable is the centre pin of the plug. The crimping ring should then be positioned correctly over the plug and crimped tight. Available in three sizes to suit CT100 or RG59 type cables or cable with a 5mm centre insulator.
